UBC vs UFV Canada West

Vancouver, B.C. - The UBC Thunderbirds won their best-of-three match-up with the UFV Cascades at War Memorial Gym to advance to the Canada West Semi-Finals. In game 1, the UFV Cascades ended the game on fire, to take the first game upset. The Thunderbirds would bounce back in Game 2 with a commanding 85-58 victory. At War Memorial in the third and deciding game, the Thunderbirds would take the 85-73. The Thunderbirds were led by Manroop Clair who poured in 29 points, while Andrew Morris led the Cascades with 23 points. To see pictures from the series, head to our Facebook page!

UBC will now travel to Alberta to play the Golden Bears in another best-of-three series in the Canada West Semi-Finals.
