UBC Home Opener is TONIGHT 🔥

Vancouver, B.C. - Tonight marks the official start to the season as USports leads the return of basketball. At War Memorial Gym the UBC Thunderbirds will host their home and season openers as they play the Saskatchewan Huskies at their ‘Courtside’ games.


In their home-and-home series with the Huskies the Women’s team will tip-off at 6:00pm on Friday night followed by a 5:00pm game on Saturday. The Men’s team will tip-off at 8:00pm and 7:00pm. For the Saskatchewan Women, Maya Olynyk will return to her home province, while on the Men’s side Levi Timmermans, Cam Wright and Noah Nickel will return to the place they grew up.


For the Thunderbirds, both Men’s and Women’s teams have high hopes for this season in pursuit of a National Championship.
