Toronto Raptors kick off NBA Season in Tampa Bay

Tampa Bay, Florida - We the North goes South. With the Government of Canada refusing to ease travel restrictions and mandatory quarantining orders for entry into Canada and no way around it even for the 2019 NBA Champions, the Raptors were forced to look south for a temporary home to kick-off the 2020/2021 NBA Season. Tampa Bay will play 'home' for the Raptors who have set up a full practice facility, weight room, and even shipped their home court down south.

With Toronto still in an extended provincial lockdown it looks like the Raptors may be away from home longer than any of us are hoping for. The Raptors are off to a slow start this season with a 1-5 record in the East.
