Vancouver, B.C. - This Tuesday, for one day only, the Larry O'Brien NBA Championship Trophy will be in Vancouver. The Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy is touring North America with members of the Toronto Raptors following their 2019 Championship Run.

Bringing the Larry O'Brien to Vancouver is Alex McKechnie, the Raptors Director of Sports Science - credited with maintaining Kawhi Leonard's health all season long. NBA and Toronto Raptor Fans will have an opportunity to hear from Honoured Member of the BC Sports Hall of Fame and take their photo with the Larry O'Brien NBA Championship Trophy on Tuesday from 10:00am - 12:00pm at the BC Sports Hall of Fame (777 Pacific Blvd - BC Place, Gate A).

McKechnie, an Honoured Member of the BC Sports Hall of Fame from the Class of 2018, comes to the Hall of Champions Tuesday after winning his sixth NBA championship and first with the Raptors last month. He previously won five NBA championship rings with the Los Angeles Lakers (2000, 2001, 2002, 2009 and 2010). McKechnie has also worked with Shaquille O'Neal and Steve Nash.

A general admission ticket ($18 for adults, $12 for students) is required, and can be purchased through the BC Sports Hall of Fame website.
