Senior Men's Canadian National Team announced ahead of FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Americas Qualifiers

The final roster for the Canadian Men’s National Team has been announced. The 12 players selected to represent Team Canada will play their first FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Americas Qualifiers game against Brazil this afternoon.

Led by five (5) NBA players highlighted by Kamloops native, Kelly Olynyk, team Canada will play their game against Brazil in Laval, Quebec before travelling to Valdivia, Chile to play Chile next Monday September 17th. Next years FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 will automatically send seven of the 32 teams participating directly to the Olympic Games in 2020.
