NBA Crossover celebrates basketball art, music, fashion and culture in Vancouver

First stop of NBA Crossover comes to a close in Vancouver
November 14, 2018

Vancouver, B.C. - The first Canadian stop of the NBA Crossover in Vancouver was a huge success. From the opening day line-up to NBA Legend Appearances, the two-day event did not disappoint on celebrating the intersection of sport and culture in our own city. Fans were able to try out NBA 2K19 in the gaming lunge, experience NBA VR with the Samsung VR Station, play old school NBA JAM, and see all 30 of the NIKE Connect City Edition Jerseys.

NBA stars Isiah Thomas, Shawn Marion and Morris Peterson were joined by Canadian WNBA Player Kayla Alexander and Deputy NBA Commissioner Mark Tatum over the course of the weekend as celebrity appearances in the NBA Crossover at The Permanent. Paired with displays from local Vancouver artists, music from local Vancouver DJ's, local barbers, and performers, the weekend was a true celebration of the strong basketball community here in British Columbia.
