NBA Crossover comes to Vancouver!

For the first time NBA Crossover comes to Canada
September 21, 2018

Basketball is BACK. For the 4th time in five years, the NBA Canada Series is stopping in Vancouver. After sellout crowds in the first three games hosted in Vancouver, including Kevin Durant’s Golden State Warriors debut in 2016, the new look Toronto Raptors, featuring NBA All-Star / DPOY / Champion / Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard making his first appearance as a Raptor, will play the Portland Trailblazers on September 29th in another SOLD OUT game.

Beyond the actual game, NBA Crossover, which blends sport, fashion, art, tech and culture into one unique experience is taking over the city. After successful exhibits in Paris, London, Milan, New Orleans and Los Angeles, NBA Crossover will bring an expanded line-up of events, activations, NBA Legend appearances, and community engagement opportunities in Vancouver.

The three-day event will take over The Permanent (330 West Pender Street) and feature an EPIC basketball inspired gallery presented by Foot Locker, a NBA 2K19 Gaming Lounge showcasing the evolution of the game, NBA Memorabilia spanning generations, The Larry O’Brien Trophy, and Nike Connect Jerseys from all 30 teams.

This free exhibit will also host NBA Legends Isiah Thomas and Shawn Marion for panel discussions and special appearances. The immersive NBA Crossover event will showcase how the NBA influences and is influenced by popular culture.

The NBA Crossover will be open to public on Friday September 28th from 5:00pm-8:00pm and Saturday September 11:30am-6:00pm (open for a watch party).
