After suffering a loss to Notre Dame the lady Bulldogs of Gonzaga didn’t let that effect them from picking up a win to advance to the constellation finals of the TCL Vancouver Showcase. The Zags move to 5-1 on the season and number one in the West Coast Conference.
Rutgers started the game strong by building a lead early in the first half but the Zags weathered the storm and tied the game by the end of the half. Rutgers senior Victoria Harris led with 12 points.
Gonzaga’s senior forward Zykera Rice scored 16 points and pulled 5 rebounds, while teammates Katie Campbell and Chandler Smith chipped in 8.

The Zags turned it up in the second half gaining control on 54 percent shooting and outscoring the Scarlet Knights 15 to 9 in closing the game to win 57-40. Gonzaga will faceoff with Western Kentucky in TCL Constellation Championship Nov. 24// 1:30pm
