Vancouver, B.C. - Douglas College had a tough weekend, suffering losses at home to Camosun College and Vancouver Island University in their first home and home series of the season. After a 2-0 start to the season, the Royals looked to continue their hot start but the Island teams had different plans.

On Friday night, the Royals came out slow and played from behind against the Camosun Chargers all night. Courtney Anderson came to life, leading his team with 30 points but it wasn’t enough for the Royals who couldn’t mount a second half comeback. For Camosun, six players scored in double figures led by Ty Cleland who led the way with 19 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists.

Douglas College looks to bounce back on Thursday Nov 15 on the road at Capilano University.
