Congratulations to UBC Men’s Basketball Alumni Luka Zaharijevic who has signed his first Professional Contract

Vancouver, B.C. - Congratulations to UBC Men’s Basketball Alumni Luka Zaharijevic who has signed his first professional contract with BK NH Ostrava of the 1st League in the Czech National Basketball League (Czech Republic).

Luka played his high school basketball at Kitsilano Secondary before completing his eligibility with the UBC Thunderbirds. Luka joins BK NH Ostrava after averaging 10 points and 5 rebounds on 66% shooting from the field.

Luka is the third UBC player to sign a pro-contract this summer, joining Conor Morgan (Joventut Badalona) and Phil Jalalpoor (CB Clavijo).
